dont understand this though. isnt all gw running off the same client, which in theory would mean that the dat code file wouldnt change region from region?

The Xunlai Trade information we have are text commands and such, found usually on an NPC. Obviously a French person who speaks French can't read English unless he knows English, right?

I can't search the .dat on my own because I'm at work. But, if you want to search it the Spanish word for Market or Marketplace is "Mercado". So, you should look for something like "Mercado Xunlai" or "Mercado de Xunlai".

If they are doing some kind of bizarre translation it can be named "Bazar" instead of "Mercado", who knows, it wouldn't be the first time they do such a thing.

German would be something like

"Xunlai Markt" or "Xunlai Marktplatz"

Translation back into English would be something like;

The Marketplace listing has been rejected. Travel to the Xunlai marketplace and look for the Market-Button in the group field (?). Thank you for testing this option

The bold underlined part shows me that they are already in the beta-test phase, or planning on giving it to us for testing (*gets hope a bit higher*)

Into english that is something like:

"Market list has not been aprobed. Go back to the Marketplace outpost and search the button "Marketplace" at the party panel. Thanks for testing this function!"

This is most interesting.

Localization usually happens very late in software development cycle as one of last preparations for deployment.

If that's the case, why this is keep so secret? Just tell the players, we have tried to do it to satisfy your wishes, but with our actual technology this is not possible. Anyway, this has help us to perform a prototype of the Xunlai Market, that will be introduced in GW2.

Also, if this has been halted, why the strings got changed in the previous update (2 days ago)? Lag problems happened before the last string update.
